How does APD Online Training work?

Online Training allows customers to connect over the internet from anywhere in the world to a virtual APD Online classroom setting using a web conferencing environment called GoToMeeting. Participants will interact in real time with an APD instructor to experience the many benefits of Top Producer 8i. How do I join my pre-registered APD Online Top Producer class?

Once you have registered for a class, an invitation email that includes the date & time of the class, login instructions and dial-in conferencing instructions will be emailed to you within 24 hours, during normal business hours.

You will be asked to join your class 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Once you are connected, software will be loaded onto your computer to create compatibility between the instructor's computer and yours, allowing them to communicate. You will then need to call the phone number contained in your invitation email, in order to communicate with the instructor. A hands-free set or speaker phone is recommended.

Is a broadband connection required?

No. You will not be required to be logged into your own Top Producer 8i account.  Your APD instructor uses a training account when conducting an Online Training class.                (*Note: During a "one-on-one" session you may elect to provide the instructor with access to use your own database instead)

For how long does an APD Online class run?

Please review the class content for each class offering as times may vary. On average, each class is scheduled for approximately 75-90 minutes, including a 15 minute Question & Answer period. Please be prepared to participate for a maximum of 90 minutes.

APD Online Training mixed "Group" classes are usually made up of individuals from a variety of locations and business types, i.e. independants and franchises. They are limited to a maximum of 10 participants which allows sufficient time for individualized attention, and ample opportunity for questions and answers. Care is taken to ensure that agents from competing offices do not participate in the same session. 

"Total office" classes cater for a maximum of 15 participants from the same office with agents/staff particpating either via their own computers or via a single computer in a conference room using a data projector and a speaker phone.

Provided that advice is received not less than 24 hours prior to class commencement, you can  reschedule your class to an alternative date within a 30 day period from the date of original purchase. Contact our Training department directly at onlinetraining@topproducer.com.au.

We highly recommend testing your computer for compatibility as soon as you receive your invitation email - don't leave it until the last minute. Included in this email is a test link that will test your computer for compatibility. Each offering from APD Online Top Producer Training is unique and delivers training information to serve different user experiences and needs.

Online training allows you to learn directly from a highly qualified APD instructor and gives agents the knowledge and confidence they need to set up Top Producer 8i for Success. Agents will also have the opportunity to take more advanced training to increase their productivity as soon as additional courses are offered. The real time aspects of Online Training allow you to interact and get questions answered immediately.

The DVD is a perfect training tool for individual agents and teams. It is full of tips and strategies on becoming a better real estate agent and covers the more advanced features of Top Producer 8i.
